WARNING

Whilst Biochar is completely non-toxic and safe for all pets, it should not be used whilst an animal is taking medication. Like all charcoal, Biochar can absorb medication if it is ingested, which can prevent the individual from receiving the correct dosage.  Biochar application can safely be resumed after the full course of treatment. 

Demeter Biochar Pet Litter and Bedding additive is carefully sieved to minimise the presence of very fine particles that could cause dust. However, caution should be taken when considering the application of Biochar to environments used by animals very sensitive to issues caused by dust inhalation.
